Week 3:Aesthetics, Design and Branding. (Part A & B)

Before I dove right into the assignment,  decided to review the first two at the top of the list: https://www.pennyjuice.com/ https://jamilin.com/ Penny Juice Upon clicking on the link to Penny Juice, visitors are greeted with a banner stating the legitimacy and motto of the juices with the order now link below it. This at the top of the main page throws a visitor off with the hierarchy of information. Alternatively an About Me introduction with a warm and genuine feel would rather be more appreciated assuming that first time visitors know about the product before ordering. As you scroll down there is a bit of repetition with inquiry information and links. So much is happening already just from scrolling down that a visitor may not even know where to begin reading or clicking. A drop down menu would be helpful for a more organized alignment of information and links that will be convenient to inquiring minds for easy click to information transition.  Jamilin  The first thr...

Week 2: Business Research

  1. Urbn/Water Supply Co. https://urbnwaterco.com/ Urbn Water is an alkaline water company based out of Oceanside Ca. They are a small team with a large following of supporters. On their website, it is very simple to maneuver your way around with easy access to its social media links. They are on Facebook and Instagram. Their last post on Instagram was January 11, 2021; with a 33.6k following. On Facebook, last post was August 14, 2020 with a following of 72 people; which is also their current number of followers to date. This company has a an active Instagram account from athletes, artists and creatives they sponsor, who also tag their products (water and merchandise) through the app. The use of Instagram gives them an upper hand with having "influencers" tag and promote their water and merchandise for their followers to see. Facebook is not active, maybe because of the lack of followers or "influencers" who use the app. Although, Facebook is very informative site...

Week 2: Communication Business and Consumer.

In the past, I have utilized the Yelp app to review different restaurants, bars, parks, museums, etc. By doing so, this helps businesses and individuals see real life reviews from locals or travelers who visit or have purchased services that become helpful to the public. Before Yelp, reviews were only available on company websites in regards to a particular product or service; this makes it harder to believe since websites only post the positive reviews of products and services for marketing purposes. Yelp is not the only app that shows positive and negative reviews, there is a sense of community with your followers and recommendations on social media platforms.       Facebook has become my go to source for any local creators to collaborate with, finding the best tacos in town, searching for the best hikes, looking for a mechanic, etc. The resourceful feature like Marketplace is used a resource for selling and buying products, a...
