WEEK 1: My Template Choice.

When it came to choosing a theme for my blog, I wanted it to have an easy aesthetic (solid color blocking) and manageable for visitor(s) to scroll through. I also like how the latest post will be at the top of the page under the header and then categorized under a following new post. The color orange countered with black and white makes for an uncomplicated color scheme for the viewer or guest so that there is less distraction from the blog content. Overall, I am satisfied with my template choice and it´s layout.

The two social media platforms that come to mind for personal and business usage are Facebook and Twitter. Also note that each of these platforms have duality to both be used for personal and business use as well. Facebook now has a Marketplace page for local businesses offering a variety of services. This feature is great for small businesses who will be able to connect with local consumers for company services, discounts, events, etc. Twitter is a fun social network platform where members can follow on trending topics with updated news(domestic/international) on politics, entertainment, sports, art, music, etc. by the minutes of every hour. It is also an app to keep in touch with friends or family with trending topics utilizing those discussions as a means to interact with other members of the platform. Both of these platforms are great for business and personal use for networking/interacting with consumers and friends.

Week 2: Communication Business and Consumer.

In the past, I have utilized the Yelp app to review different restaurants, bars, parks, museums, etc. By doing so, this helps businesses and individuals see real life reviews from locals or travelers who visit or have purchased services that become helpful to the public. Before Yelp, reviews were only available on company websites in regards to a particular product or service; this makes it harder to believe since websites only post the positive reviews of products and services for marketing purposes. Yelp is not the only app that shows positive and negative reviews, there is a sense of community with your followers and recommendations on social media platforms.       Facebook has become my go to source for any local creators to collaborate with, finding the best tacos in town, searching for the best hikes, looking for a mechanic, etc. The resourceful feature like Marketplace is used a resource for selling and buying products, a...

On their website, it is very simple to maneuver your way around with easy access to its social media links. They are on Facebook and Instagram. Their last post on Instagram was January 11, 2021; with a 33.6k following. On Facebook, last post was August 14, 2020 with a following of 72 people; which is also their current number of followers to date. This company has a an active Instagram account from athletes, artists and creatives they sponsor, who also tag their products (water and merchandise) through the app. The use of Instagram gives them an upper hand with having "influencers" tag and promote their water and merchandise for their followers to see. Facebook is not active, maybe because of the lack of followers or "influencers" who use the app. Although, Facebook is very informative site...
